To be submerged in a creative state is to escape into the mind’s eye and envision the beauty within. I am a fine art photographic artist specializing in underwater fine art. My work is whimsical, has a great fashion sense, and is timeless in its beauty. I create artistic works that are unique, and individual, and cannot be duplicated or compared to other photographic or artistic disciplines. I want the viewers to love what they see and feel the emotions that speak to them. To have a special piece of art to cherish always. Diana’s unique style is whimsical and magical. Her mediums include fine art underwater photography, fine art studio portraiture, digital art, alternative photographic processes, watercolor, oil paint, and encaustic waxes. Underwater Fine Art Photography is her specialty and first love. Being underwater, she feels the most creative.
She has exhibited solo and group exhibits locally and nationally.
The Professional Photographers Guild Houston awarded Diana Active Photographer of the Year in 2020 and 2021.
Diana was published in professional and local magazines and books and is one of 50 artists in the “50 Artist” book representing Houston 2022.
She holds a Master of Photography and a Master Artist from Professional Photographers of America.
Diana taught art and photography in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District through private classes, workshops, and public schools. She was also the art department chair at Cypress Falls High School.
