"Artists Enhancing Spaces"
Artist - Janice Jackson

As a fine art oil painter, I’ve focused on nature primarily for inspiration; however, I paint old cars, marine vessels, and man-made objects. I utilize
my photography as a reference for my paintings. I depict “all of God’s creation” and man-made subjects. Although I earned my BFA from Texas State University, I am a self-taught artist who has developed my own technique. I render my subjects painterly with much expression in the color and brush strokes. Recently, I began an underwater series and hope my viewers enjoy my paintings when gazing at them.
