Artist - Liz Plaster
I am a creative expressionist who is alive to the world! My creativity springs from my intuitive sensitivity, expressing smell, taste, touch, sight, and sound through shades of color, texture, and spiritual insight. My inspiration includes the energy and feelings radiated by people, animals, and nature. I am a mixed media artist unlimited by any one material. Each material tells me what they wish to contribute. I
express my creativity through exploring mixed media art, photography, writing (award-winning author), drumming, professional activities, and mindfulness. I
seek to connect to others through my artistic passion, sensitivity, and playfulness. I live each day with spirit and intention. My commitment is to support the growth of more love, empathy, wisdom, and clarity in the world (Ikigai).
Liz Plaster, M.Ed., has over 40 years of experience in research and creative application in human behavior, leadership, executive coaching, and emotional intelligence. Journeying through life as a cowgirl, business entrepreneur, educator, executive coach, community leader, award-winning author, drummer, wife, devoted mother and grandmother, and loving friend, Liz brings all she is to what she does. She enjoys being with her family and friends, the cultural arts, traveling and being in nature.
She has exhibited in multiple private, non-profit, and corporate galleries. She has studied art with various talented teachers, including at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts Glassell School. Her studio is in the Silos in Sawyer Yards, #106. She desires to connect and collaborate with other conscious creatives and supports women and men in their journey.
